Practice Areas: Ms. Consolino is an Associate of the Firm. Her practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, special investigations, and complex civil litigation. Ms. Consolino has represented clients in investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, Congress, the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, the Offices of Inspector General for various federal agencies, and many other federal and state regulatory bodies. She also has extensive experience in political corruption and FCPA matters. Before joining Aegis, Ms. Consolino was an associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. While at Chadbourne, Ms. Consolino was a key member of the team representing Star Scientific, Inc. in connection with the federal jury investigation and corruption prosecution of former Virginia Governor McDonnell and his wife.
In addition to her criminal defense work, Ms. Consolino has considerable experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving complex defamation, deceptive trade practices, and First Amendment issues. Ms. Consolino maintains an active pro bono practice focused on both federal and state criminal defense.
Background: Ms. Consolino received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Texas and was a Dean's Distinguished Graduate and Phi Beta Kappa. In 2011, she received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, serving as Notes Editor of the Texas Law Review.
